Nora Collins
Fueled by an unyielding creative drive, and a down-home country spirit, Nora has established herself as one of country music industry’s rising stars with 8 Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) Award Nominations and 3 Wins including 2014 WAMI “Singer/Songwriter of the Year” and two consecutive WAMI “Rising Star” awards (2013 and 2012). In addition, Nora received the honor of being voted the Best “Female Vocalist” and “Acoustic Musician” in the 2015, 2014 AND 2013 Best of Milwaukee Awards.
Nora is a hard working performer having averaged over 200 appearances annually for the last five years. She has opened for national performers including: Country Music Hall of Famer Ronnie Milsap, Phil Vassar, Kelsea Ballerini, Jon Pardi, Jana Kramer, Ashley Monre, Josh Thompson, Josh Turner, David Nail, Michael Ray, Raelynn, Sawyer Brown, Cassadee Pope, Mickey Guyton, Mo Pitney, Clare Dunn, American Idol winner Lee DeWyze, Sixpence None the Richer, Katie Armiger, Paul Thorn and The Turnpike Troubadours.
She has self-released four albums of her original songs. Her most recent album, “My Radio” consists of 7 tracks, all written or co-written by Nora. Nora has gained national recognition with the music video for the title track, “My Radio” airing on ZUUS Country cable channel.
As an accomplished singer/songwriter, Nora Collins has a unique vocal quality that is both sensitive and upbeat. Much like her personality, she brings a positive energy that carries across generations of fans.
Nora is honored to be named a Champion for the South Eastern Wisconsin Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
